Rz. Imperatae Bai Mao Gen 12g Cools the Blood, stops bleeding, clears Heat from the Stomach and Lungs and inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
With Sheng Di Huang, for bleeding due to Heat in the Blood.
With Sheng Di Huang and Fu Ling, for hematuria due to Heat, even with significant underlying Deficiency.
Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 12g Tonifies the Middle Jiao, augments Qi, tonifies the Lungs, nourishes the Blood and promotes the generation of Body Fluids.
With Fu Ling, for Spleen and Stomach Deficiency with fatigue, a sensation of fullness in the abdomen, dizziness, lethargy, shortness of breath, anorexia and loose stools or diarrhea.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with anorexia, loose stools and vomiting.
Rx. Asparagi Tian Men Dong 12g Nourishes Kidney Yin, clears Lung Heat, sedates Fire, moistens the Lungs, generates Fluids and resolves Phlegm.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 12g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin, stops coughing, nourishes Stomach Yin and generates Fluids.
With Tian Men Dong, for Lung and Kidney Yin Deficiency with consumptive coughing and occasional hemoptysis.
With Nan Sha Shen, for a dry throat, constipation, thirst and a red tongue with little coat due to pathogenic Warmth or Heat injuring the Stomach Yin or long-term Yin Deficiency.
With Nan Sha Shen and Yu Zhu, for insufficient Stomach Yin from Yang Ming Stage or Qi Level disease with profuse sweating.
With Sheng Di Huang, for hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
